What is PM-KISAN?

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector Scheme providing income support of ₹6,000 per year to all landholding farmer families, paid in three installments of ₹2,000 each.

Eligibility

• Small and marginal farmer families
• Landholding farmers
• Must have valid bank account linked to Aadhaar

Step-by-Step Registration

Step 1: Visit PM-KISAN Portal Go to pmkisan.gov.in and click "New Farmer Registration"

Step 2: Enter Aadhaar Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and select your state.

Step 3: Fill Application Form Enter personal details, land details, and bank account information.

Step 4: Upload Documents Upload scanned copies of required documents.

Step 5: Submit and Note Reference Submit the form and note the reference number for tracking.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Mismatch between Aadhaar and bank account name
• Incorrect IFSC code
• Land area mismatch with revenue records
• Using a joint account instead of individual

Tracking Your Application

Visit pmkisan.gov.in then "Beneficiary Status" then Enter Aadhaar number.
